Science 5

Science is a required area of study in Saskatchewan’s Curriculum. The aim of the curriculum is to help all Saskatchewan students to develop scientific literacy. The course includes four units of study. The four units of study are Human Body Systems, Properties and Changes of Materials, Forces and Simple Machines, and Weather.

For each unit detailed lesson plans will be provided. Each lesson plan includes a written plan, an instructional video, handouts, and assessment tool. These materials can be accessed on Moodle or a print copy can also be provided.  The learner will also be provided the Ministry of Education’s recommended resource needed to complete the course.
