Math 4

Math is a Required Area of Study in Saskatchewan’s Core Curriculum. The aim of the curriculum is to prepare students to value math and appreciate math’s role in their life and society. The curriculum is intended to prepare students to confidently use math in everyday situations using thinking, reasoning, and inquiry skills.

The course includes lesson plans in the eight units of study. Each lesson plan includes a written plan, an instructional video, handouts, and assessment tool. These materials can be accessed on Moodle or a print copy can also be provided. The learner will also be provided the Ministry of Education’s recommended resource needed to complete the course.
