ELA 9

In this course, students will extend their language skills and strategies through the use of all six language arts strands through opportunities to view and represent, listen and speak, and read and write in meaningful contexts.

Units of study provide meaningful contexts and foci for students to explore the topics and texts that are important to young people everywhere. They allow students to learn how language is important in meaningful situations and to develop a sense of self and connection to others, and as engaged citizens, a capacity to make difference in the larger community.

Units of Study:

All That I Am – In Search of Self
