Core French 10 - 4019

Pre-Requisite None*

* While there is no formal pre-requisite for Core French 10, there is an expectation that you have mastered basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in French. Before gaining access to the course, you will be required to complete a language level assessment to determine readiness. This assessment will ensure you have the necessary skills to be successful in the course.

To gain access to the language level assessment, complete the course registration form on the DLC website.  We will email instructions and log-in credentials to access the free assessment tool; course fees, if applicable, will not be payable until the learner has passed the initial assessment and is enrolled in Core French 10.

Delivery Method Online Asynchronous

Throughout the three units of study, learners learn the required French vocabulary and sentence structure to communicate about purchasing items in a retail environment, planning a trip, and exploring a driver’s license.

  1. Le consommateur averti (The Informed Consumer)
  2. La planification d’un voyage (Trip planning)
