Course Description

Drafting & CAD 30 is an advanced drafting course where learners will become familiar with the newest drafting technology used by professionals across the industry. The drafting challenges tackled will involve complex angles, multiple dimensions and a host of interrelated parts. Learners will produce isometric, section, multi-view, and 3D drawings of several different objects, each one demonstrating a thorough understanding of advanced dimensioning and CAD drafting best practice.

As with all forms of engineering, computer-aided design requires a great degree of precision and accuracy. As learners move through the Drafting & CAD strand of courses, expectations for precise work will intensify along with the complexity of the tasks tackled.
