Computer Drafting 30 is an advanced course where students will broaden their skills using CAD software.  Potentially new and more complex software will be introduced that is industry standard, as this will help students understand the career field of drafting.  Students will be able to produce section, multi-view, auxiliary, and 3D views of certain drafting/mechanical projects.  Working drawings and advanced dimensioning will also be topics covered.  A high standard of quality will be expected for all drawings in this course.

  4. Advanced Dimensioning
  5. Working Drawings
  6. Advanced 3D CAD

Supplied Software to Students Registered with Sun West:
Solidworks version TBD

*If  you are at a school outside of Sun West, or are a home based student registered with another division other than Sun West, your school division must supply the software above.
