This course utilizes the drafting programs ‘AutoCAD’ and ‘Revit’ and focuses on the field of architecture.  Students will learn the terminology and basics of residential house design. This will include floor plans, foundation plans, wall sections, elevations, and presentation/3D drawings.  Students will be able to understand the use and location of materials used in the construction of a typical house and be able to create drawings for architectural projects.  Students will be expected to maintain a high standard of quality for drawings produced.

  3. Floor Plans/Electrical Plans/Elevations
  4. Advanced 3D CAD & Presentation Drawings

Required Software:
AutoCAD (2016 or 2017) and Revit (2016 or 2017) – both free programs. Download information available once enrolled in the course.
